The contest is called "When Angels Fly"  
You DO NOT have to be a member to enter.  Please submit your entries to this folder [link] I will not go digging for your entry.  If it's not in the correct folder, it's not in the contest!

Rules:

1.  Enteries MUST be new as of today 7-29-12 you may make 2 entries, however only one will be chosen.

2.  You must have a link to this blog and the groups avatar in your artist's description.

3.  We will accept all media (digital, traditional, manips) except for Literature and Photography (we don't have a whole lot of lit in our group but maybe next time).  Standard dA rules apply as do group rules (on front page)  **With traditional or digital drawings/airbrushing etc. Use one of the models as a reference, in your artist's description list everything you used as a reference, your muse, and if you got the inspiration from from one of the stock link it.  AND if you delve into mixed media you can use the textures for a background or you know.  Just ask me, we'll figure it out

4.  I've chosen 13 backgrounds and textures for you to use and everyone voted on 3  models.  The requirements here are you have to use ONE model and ONE of the required stocks. I also ask for at LEAST 3 other stocks in the image NOT including the wings. Now this doesn't mean that if you use some cloud that, that is your background but you could use this as a layer for your piece or a texture and add everything else and remember...They MUST have wings, they are angels after all!

5.  You must link to the stocks you used, with the avatar for the deviant who you used them from.  I also want you to put "required" next to the stocks we've provided.

6.  This contest will run from today July 29, 2012 to September 1, 2012  I think this will be plenty of time for everyone to work on this if they choose to participate.  

7.  There will be 3 winners and a runner up.  Winners will be chosen on the use of stock (did you use what was provided, in traditional art did you use one of the models for reference and list your muse/inspiration/references), were proper links and credits given, basically did you follow the rules, and how does it look? is it great? is it a sloppy cut and paste? is it just a doodle?

All donations are welcome, llamas, features, points (donate points here[link] , and stock packs or commissions. After the contest each person that donated will be featured by me and our group.  Just let me know what you want to donate and which place you want the donation to go to (1st, 2nd, 3rd, or runner up).  You can enter if you donate too   
My hubby and I are going to be judging the entries, choosing six. 2 for each place.  Then in a poll everyone will be able to vote but Our runner up will be chosen by a poll out of the the ones that didn't make 1st, 2nd, or 3rd.  I think this will work better instead of selecting judges.
